Patch panel priming question

Hey there, I'm cutting out a half dozen rust spots on my original sheet metal and welding new metal in. Seems simple enough but a couple of them I can't get to the back after I weld them, in other words, I will paint myself into a corner. The issue is that I won't be able to prime after I weld. I know that many use a weld thru primer to handle this.

Can't find any weld thru primer locally (or primer labeled as such), so is there another product or process that I can substitute in order to keep this project moving?

Can I just use any generic high zinc green self etching primer?

My O'Rielly's had some weld through primer...
maybe check in with the place that supplies the welders...
or auto body supply house?

Good luck on the project!
