I have a 63 original 6 cylinder car w/ powerglide. The previous owner put a 283 in it but never put in the kickdown/ throttle valve so the car is shifting into 2nd gear at 15mph.
My question is, do you have to drop the transmission to add the kickdown linkage/TV linkage (looks like its tough to get to with the firewall in the way.
Second question is, what parts do I need. I have found some on ebay, but wondering what bracket I need to hook to my Edelbrock carb.
Have searched high and low and having a hard time finding a parts list etc.
