hi.my rear parking brake cables(from brake to mount on frame) are different lengths.the cable inside the housing is same length but cable housings are about 1" or 2" different.does anyone know what side the short or long goes on?mine seem to fit either side.thanks for any help

I bought a cable kit from Inline Tube back in 2013 and I don't remember one side being longer than the other and maybe they were packaged wrong ?.

Not to say everything was perfect with the kit I got from Inline but I did have to remove some of the spring on the front cable assembly and then earlier this year I have noticed I'm about out of room on the tensioner due to cable stretch either on the main cable or one or both of the rear axle to frame cables. Other than that, it's been working fine.
