We are replacing the driver side kick panel and realize we may have to get the parking brake assembly out of the way to get at one screw.

The two bolts holding the assembly to the firewall......where are the nuts securing those bolts in the firewall? What's the easiest way to access them?

We can get at all the screws holding the panel in place except the top one.

In the photo, lower right are the 2 studs, nuts have already been removed in this photo.

ya, they are in a really convenient spot, i've ever tried to get them off with a car assembled, but good luck.

You can get them off it's just a pain in the butt. the best thing i found to use is a Deep Socket and a Air Ratchet. if i remember right it's a 1/2 Socket.
it's a small space to work in but it beats taking the hole fender off. it would be easier if you took your hood off but i dont think you have to.

drop the inner fender down and the nuts are easily accessable. The inner fender is real easy to work with and no panel alignment needed when going back on.
