What's a good ,reasonably priced paint brand ,I want a copper metalflake, or mid 50s chevy copper. The new 'Vette copper/orange looks good but I don't know the color name.

Do candy colors cost much different?

Are paints that are stock colors along this route?

I don't want to break the bank but next spring I may be able to paint the wagon. Budget of $500-700 is what i'm hoping for.

Thanks,Ric

Do you have a color code for the color you want??

Paint cost is based on a suffix code for an individual color, you may want a copper but there may be different sufix codes for 10 different coppers.

Dupont and PPG are comparable brands,, here in California most paint stores have changed to water based paint.

PM me a color code and I can let you know what I could get color/clear for??

As far as candy take a look at www.coastairbrush.com House of Kolors is the brand you want.

Napa carries a complete line of automotive paints in various qualities. Prices seem to be about half that of Dupont or PPG.
