My personal opinion is to try to do something similar to your wheels. I don't know if that means black on the slats while keeping the surroundings chrome or if it means chrome on all the front portion with the sides of the vertical slats painted dark, or some other combo...no matter what, your car is looking GREAT!!!

I meant to add that you could go with a darker window tint. That's what I did on my 67.

Maybe leave the perimeter and the leading edge of slats chrome but paint the sides of the slats a darker color...black or as I did with mine, charcoal gray. It will be a subtle enhancement without a complete departure from "stock" appearance.
