Do I need a high volume oil pump if I run a remote oil filter?I have a 7 1/2 quart pan and 2 4 foot 8AN lines to my remote.Right now I have a Melling M55 pump.Will it do the job?Thanks!

Not sure. But if you put your motor together, fill it with oil fire it up and stomp on the throttle you might have your answer

Will all depend on how much pressure you can maintain... I am certain someone with more knowledge can chime in...

Most of my builds now I use the 10552 which is 10% more volume then the Std. pump.
