Got the 350 290 hp crate engine and it has provisions(kickout notches) for left and right dip stick. Only the left side has the actual tube on the notch and the front sump pan I got has the notch on the same side (left side) as the one with the tube. The pan does not have a kickout notch on the right side like the one on the engine. If I use the pan is there enough lip to seal that area? The original pan that came with the engine has the notch on both sides. Does anybody sells an early nova pan with both kickout notches? Yes, the pan I got is a repop and has the dipstick housing welded to the pan on the left side. Sorry for the long thread.

Not quite the same, but my pan has the notch on both sides, and the block only has the driver side--it looks funny, but no leaky!
