Not being a convertible owner can you even mini tub a convertible?

Would there be interference with the roof going back and down into that area?

Curious...

Nice looking car by the way

Thank you! It would not interfere with anything to mini tub a convertible. Everything pretty much stays above the wheel wells.

Being a 'vert owner, I would tend to agree. I know that some people drag race, or autocross convertibles. But for me...higher speeds feel better with a roof over my head.:yes:

Beautiful car! What kind of air cleaner is that?
Hey thanks, it is a standard Nova v8 air cleaner with the horn thing removed. I had it powder coated "chrome" color. I had the hole to the rear at first but turned it around recently.

Cool is that something they did back in the day? I'm shooting for a late 60's early 70's time for under my hood.

Not sure I stole the idea from someone on here only I pc'ed mine chrome. I just liked how it looked kinda nostalgic which is what I was shooting for also, still have some work to do under there like the radiator hose and the master cylinder.
