Nova Conversion

I have a 72 Nova, was an automatic, trying to make it a 4 speed. New tranny is installed and I notice very little clearance for clutch fork. I am using a Saginaw transmission with a blow proof bellhousing bolted to a small block 350, 168 tooth flywheel, 11 in. clutch. Can that type of bellhousing be used in a Nova? Are there any tips to help my situation?

I haven't done this myself but is the blow proof Bigger then the stock?? Have you looked at a stock 4 speed Nova

As far as size, I think the blow proof and stock bellhousings should be the same so that all stock mountings can be used. I haven't checked out any stock Nova 4 speeds yet. We have removed tranny and realized that the clutch fork ball stud is to short. We are ordering an adjustable one that should help us out. Thanks for replying to my post
