Would anybody know the actual weight of a 327 block without the crank, pistions and rods?

I have a potential buyer in Iowa and he wants this block bad. I am trying to get an actual weight of the block without the crank, rods and pistons; and another weight with everyting together..

Does anybody know where I could get this information??

FWIW, I shipped a 350 with crank, pistons, cam and heads (iron SR Torquers). The weight came to 399 lbs (including wooden pallet). No intake or distributor.

A 327 I think would be in that ballpark.

So, minus the 70 or so lbs because I don't have heads for this block, it would be about 320 to 350 (including the pallet to ship)... Wow, it is going to cost this individual some cash... I am going to the UPS on-line store and gather some information..

Guys, thanks for all the input and the usefull information.

I don't think you'll be able to ship a block by UPS. It's too heavy. You'll need to send it by truck.
