So the other day after this 1000yr old lady almost crashed into me, I noticed that the horn was taken out of the car. How difficult is it to replace the horn? Are these normally special orders? I'd like to get as close as possile to orginal but i'll take anything at this point after that incident. Thanks

My buddies 72 el camino apears to have the same horn as my 63 nova.. Whether that means all gm cars of the era had the same horn IDK. If your dead set on stock try the parts wanted section. Realize there is likely a high tone and a low tone so there are probably two horns. My buddy just has the high tone and it sounds like sh** lol.

Oh ya! Bout 10 or so of my buddys going too. Can't wait.
And my other car just got primer and is getting paint in the morning! WooHoo! Should have that back next week!

Easy Peasy !!! Man you are on a roll today. I guess going to the races tonight has got you all giddy. ROFL
LOL !!! guess i should of :eek: under the hood brfore posting :p. Horn and relay are there but it looks as if the stearing wheel does not have the 'button' components in there. I popped the cap and there's just the bolt there. So i'll have to purchase a button component?
