Just installed a new gas tank/sending unit and now the gas guage reads empty. It worked just fine before the installation. Any ideas?
The ground is solid and the fuse is good also.

I've installed two sending units .........I always worked the unit outside gas tank first, moving the float to see if gauge in car works.
Not this answer's your question but I guess it might help try to run issues down before final install.
