Have 67 Nova chevy II. Car has MSD 6A box in it with MSD Pro Billet distributor. A week ago the car fired after sitting for 5 months and ran for about 30 seconds and died. Since then nothing. I've gone as far as removing the MSD box and good Pro Billet distributor and put an old points distributor back in just to get it fired. Same problem no spark at coil wire. I've checked with a volt meter with key in on position and have the necessary voltage, also checked with the key in start position while cranking over and still have no coil spark. I've tryed two sets of points, a brand new coil and nothing. The only time I can get a spark at the coil wire is when I hook the MSD box back up and ground the white wire and I get a spark at the end of the coil wire. But.. I thought I made some progress there and turned it over and no spark.. Theres nothing really trick on the car it's just stock wiring set up. I cant figure why it won't fire off a spark with the basic points set up. Any ideas ??? Thanks - Mark
