BFGoodrich tires suck a big donkey * as do Goodyears imho

to me its the 60 series that suck...compared to what is avail today
not saying BFgoodrich are crappy tires, its just that there are way better tires avail today

the BFgoodrich radial TA is a performance all season, pretty much the lowest of the performance tires

I was dead set against 17", until I started looking at options
17" gets you into way more ultra performance all season and performance summer
I like the ultra performance all season as they are a good tradeoff between dry and wet road performance

you really need to get into 50, 45, 40 series tires to get into better performance in anything other than drag tires
and of the more performance, 17" opens up way more options

They do look good. What size and make do you have on the front?

Coker Tire Firestone Radial F560 Tire 125R15.
They are black wall, I painted the name and size. I was going for skinny look, also makes rear tires appear larger. Ill post you a pic soon for you.

Im sure your 383 is putting down a lot more HP and may just blow these tires up, I dont know. Just sharing my info!

Thanks for all of the info! I've got to decide just exactly what I want to do. The 383 is not too radical, 420hp, 475 tq

Heres an interesting read on the age of tires and the dangers. The reason I recently bought these new tires was the tires on my car were 12 years old and looked new. A friend that works at a tire shop explained the date and problems with aging tires. This article explains issues and how to read date code.
