Is there any radiator core support that I can buy new that will fit my 1975 nova?

No there is not. Used is all there is for now. I have spoke with some manufacturers about the number I have sold in the last 2 years and the amount of requests I have received that have gone unfilled. Apparently it was not great enough for them to feel the need to make one.
dang, ya they should start making remanufactured core supports :/ do you know of anyone selling one? I read that 75-79 skylark, omega, phonix and apolo would fit
All of the 75 - 79 X body cars used the same core support. There were 2 different sized openings for the radiators depending on if it was a standard cool or HD cooling. The smaller opening is easily enlarged along a prestamped line in the metal. Non AC cars with HD cooling had an extra piece attached on the drivers side to prevent air from flowing around the end of the radiator. The standard cool support has this piece as part of the stamping and when enlarging the opening it will need cut off and moved. The holes are predrilled to make mounting correctly very easy.
I have photos of the procedure if you need them.
Thanks that's sweet they have it marked already, I found a core support on ebay but he wants 166 and the shipping is 96, its too much money when you can buy a brand new core support for a 74 nova for 120 bucks, they should really start making them I bet they would sell a decent amount
core supports

i gave up looking and then someone emailed me that he wants to sell his in new condition for $190 and i pick it up in the next state over . but due to being the not rich person that i am i had to decline his offer , then he sold it 2 weeks ago .. good for him bad for us
core supports

i looked into the core supports and i came up to a area on the net about FIBERGLASS REMAKES . some people liked them and some didn't like them . i couldn't find any on the 4 gens tho

Because they are not reproduced is the reason the price is not lower. I get $175 + shipping when I have them. Some I see on eBay are rusted badly, look for detailed photos and beware if buying from someone that does not have a good reputation.

ok thanks, let me know when you get one
I actually got lucky and found a guy selling one a while back for my 75. The guy bought it brand new from gm like 15 years ago and kept it in his garage and never used it. Sold it to me for $100. It was great. Still had the original gm instructions for cutting out for an ss car.

I have found a junkyard that has 7 novas, phoenix, skylarks that have the core supports in them. I have been meaning to go back to get them but I have lost both parents in the past 17 days and it's been a stressful time for me and as soon as I get back from WV I'll go back to see if I can get them, repair them and sell them to you guys on this site. I'll post everyone after September 22.

Sorry for your loss, will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Were in WV are they
From his post it sounds like they are in Maryland.
For those who cant find core supports. Take the one you have to a machine shop or wielder most can repair them to where you never knew it had rust.
Just seen WV in is post so thought it ment West Virginia

core support

1977Chad350 i weld for a living and i need a core support <<<<< can you feel what i am saying . i tried welding mine and it didn't come out right . now the passenger side is higher buy a 1/2 " , took it out and removed 1/2 "and now it looks to low . this is why i am looking for one that is not so destroyed on the bottom . all i did was weld it together and put on a bare frame . the frame , i had on a flat surface table at work and used a laser to set the height and it still came out looking bad so i measured the frame height and that was only 3/32 difference between the 2 rails
If it were easy I would not have been able to sell 16 in the last 3 years. Another member from California has also sold a few, plus a few were sold by a friend in New Mexico. These are just the ones I know about, not counting the many that have been on eBay and Craigslist. I do not know why the after market has not tooled up for these, there is a market.
retooling

i asked a friend of mine who does remakes of hub caps for the older cars . he said to make the tooling alone it would cost close to 20 k to make a punch die  then he would need an order for 300 to make this die , then each one would have to sell for around $300, the more wants the less it would be . then i asked how much to build a 1/2 of the frame die , same price . then i asked how much to build just the mounting brackets where it bolts to the frame , to be used as a weld in patch panel with line up holes ? he said that price would come down a lot because it would require the person to weld it together where it bends 90 degs to keep it ridged before being welded to the cor support . so this whole think is not forgotten , it is in the thinking mode :)
