This thing... bought and drive it home for $3k about 7 years ago. Didn’t know what I was getting into. But, since I’m a perfectionist, everything had to go. Stripped it completely down. Kick panel, floors, all rusted. Rear tail had some damage. I’ve never welded, but I learned quickly.

Fast forward 7 years, I’ve sunk $20k into it and it’s still a ways off from being even driveable. No paint, another $$$$.

Good news is it’s now got a 430hp 383 stroker, B&M tranny, all new suspension with tubular control arms, discs, and all new interior. No bolt left undone. POR 15 is my friend. Still probably have another $15k to go (with paint).

Who knew these these things would cost so much! Haha

Nice looking work.As far as money goes it's not that unusual to have that much invested. If done right and complete they are very expensive to build and if you ever sale people think you are trying rip they off if you try to get most of your money back.
Good luck with the rest of your build.
