Finally got the new 383 running and broken in tonight. For those who don't know, its an all forged 383, 10.5-1 compression, RHS 200cc heads, Comp solid cam with 252/260 @ .050" .540"/.558", victor jr, 750 dp, 1 3/4 headers w/ 2.5" exhaust. Just need to jet it and time it and it should run pretty strong :D. Can't wait for racing season!

OUTSTANDING camshaft choice! I love that Comp solid grind, especially in a 383. Has plenty of torque everywhere in the power band and revs really well. Also a great sounding idle. You put together a really good combination of parts. You won't be disappointed with the results.

Congrats on the new engine. I run almost the same - 4100 stall, turbo 350, 383, 10.7 comp, 560/565 lift hyd. roller, mine runs and pulls hard to at least 6700 rpms, hoping to get mine to the track this year. I am expecting mine to do at least an 11.50 or better.
