Well, just got back from the first race of the season. We were dealing with possible rain showers, so we only got one time trial. I got beat in the first round, but I can't complain about the numbers.
Time trial:
R/T: -.034
60': 1.539
330': 4.502
1/8th: 7.001
1/8th MPH: 98.12
1000': 9.175
1/4: 11.018
1/4 MPH: 122.31
First round:
R/T: .019
Dial: 11.01
60': 1.539
330': 4.510
1/8th: 7.002
1/8th MPH: 98.72
1000': 9.163
1/4: 10.996
1/4 MPH: 122.95
I knew the car had a 10 in it
. I have an idea it went 10.996 due to my missing 2nd to drive shift by about 400 RPM. I had a brain fart and didn't shift when the light came on, then I noticed it and shifted at 7300. The car didn't mind it at all, and it kept on pulling hard.
My opponent had an .036 light, and ran a 9.180 on a 9.18 dial. I had the light to beat her, but there was no way to close the gap on a car that comes on you so fast. I had to run it out the back door. Regardless, I got the 10 sec. time slip!
Here are some pics of the car:
