Maybe nobody cares, but I've been wanting forever for someone to come out with an aluminum 100cc chamber BBC head, so I could run a flat top piston with decent compression and get by on 92 octane, and Edelbrock has done it. Part # 60499, 290 cc intake, 2.19 1.88 valves, $1650 assembled from Flatlander, I LIKE it!

Edelbrock also makes a few heads based on this casting, oval ports ( rovals) and retangular port. They even make the heads for GMs 502. These are called Signature Series and the main differance is the valve size, 2.19 for the Edelbrock and 2.25 when it used on the Chevy 502.

I run a set on a 427 that I had milled down to 100 cc with the roval ports and 2.25 intake valves. I have a 10.60 + CR and it runs on 92 all day ( lot of cam helps.)

A really good head for the price.
