Hi i'm Ernie. Ran my own repair shop for 40 years. Brain surgery set me back so i had to step away from it. But i never lost the passion for it. I sold my shop s few years back. But built a shop at my house. 72 this year keep on keeping on. Hope I have something to offer out here. Sincerely. Ernie.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ , and I agree with 'BLYOTH' (Bruce) , about = 'Where are you located' - - because we have SNS members , everywhere (like in "small town - Chino Valley,AZ " ;
there are two other members that live here . . . and, I have met one of those guys . . . Scott . He is about 10 miles from my house = nice guy , building a 63 Chevy II .
Like , you never know, just who is out there and , maybe even thinking & liking old cars or old Novas .

Welcome to Steve's. Where are you located? We often have members on here looking for old school mechanics.
and @Ernietech , oldschool knowledge is priceless to the younger generation and once lost, it's gone for good! David Vizard comes to mind...

No current projects. Sold my Jerry Haas Camaro during my recovery. Had BB Nova Couple BB 70 chevelles. Etc moved them all on. Keeping family cars running and a few old friends muscle cars during the summer. Just finished building a 327 for a 67 camaro for an old customer. Car is getting a full body facelift may be installing it in the summer god willing. Thanks for the welcome from all Glad to be here. Literally. Keep on keeping on.

Welcome Ernie. I'll hit the same age level come August this year. Got to keep going on. If you ever start just sitting around, that's all you'll do.

The way I use this forum is to click on the "NEW" button on top left side of page. That way you'll see all the post since the last time you were on the site. Anything that interest me is what I then look at. Please jump in with any advice or questions.

Than you. I check that what's new button always. I'm Not one to sit around. I put springs in all the chairs so in case i do sit down it pushes me right back up. 😁

Welcome Ernie, new and old school knowledge is a great combo. Did you get a change to get into the Ls platform engines. Lots of help needed as more and more folks are steering that way. I for one am moving that direction sometime soon saving for an Ls3 for my 63SS,
Yes i replaced a lot of those DoD lifters. They should be named Dud lifters.
