i have a little hickup when idleing in gear. when in park and driving it is fine just when im stopped at a light. it idles fine then all of a sudden it hickups then back to idleing fine again.

ive checked timing,new cap,new points gap is right,new plugs new wires new coil carb is clean. im out of ideas.

maybe my gas line is getting to hot? but wouldnt it do it all the time if that was it?

l6 250 edelbrock 600 cfm offy intake.

Just throwing out an idea but my old 78' nova with a 250 ran like that because my cam lobe was worn out on one cylinder.

found a post from NovaBro he was having the same issue. going to try his fix when i get home. he said adjusting mixture screw fixed it.

Why would you run an Edelbrock 600 on 250" 6? Does it have a big cam? head work?, exhaust? loose converter? Sounds like a mismatch to me.

bowtie i know it is too much carb:yes: i just baught this car and it runs good so i havent really worried about it. i will be adding cam and engine work later so i figured i would just leave it.
