I’m polishing up my chrome bits, it never occurred to me, the new full 1/4 panels I installed don’t have accommodations for the outside chrome where the fuzzies attached to.

It’s been awhile if I remember correctly, the little tabs on the inside of the chrome “click” into the slots that aren’t there on the1/4 r’s.

what do you guys suggest. My first thought, if i can the measurements correct, drill a couple holes at either end and a small cut off wheel to make the slot? Suggestions? Of course not a lot of room. OR im i way off base and they are a kinda press fit? Ok never mind, found my old fuzzies and there’s screw holes… my bad. It’s been a awhile.

I ran into the same issue when installing my full drivers side rear quarter and the door skin. I used the measurements from the passengers side and did exactly what you say and it worked out well.

So there are supposed to be slots on the inside of the new 1/4’s.? I found screw holes on my old fuzzies and lined them up with the chrome pieces, now thinking they screw on and the tabs just grab onto 1/4’s…. Now I’m confused… which doesn’t take much.
