Ok well I am in the middle of putting my posi and gears in, and my 3.42 gears that I have are for an 7.5 not an 8.5 so I need some gears.....Tried putting my 2.55s on the posi but hits the housing before it gets shimmed correctly(made for 2.73 or higher) SO basically I need some 2.73 gears or higher for cheap........

So......you need gears for an 8.5 10 bolt ?
I have good used gears : A set of 3:08s for an 8.2 and a set of 2:73s for an 8.5

Well I found a set of 3.42s locally and the whole rear-end for 100 bucks so I picked her up....tomorrow I will be done with the install......Thanks though!!
