Need pinion seal for 62-63 rear end

I had my 62 3rd member rebuilt but now the guy says he's having trouble finding the right pinion seal. It might be a 63. I took both a 62 and a 63 pumpkin to him and he built it using the better ring and pinion so I'm not sure which he used but they are the same right?

Anyway, are they hard to find? Anyone have a part number?

Original GM part number is 3790622. Might find it at a local parts house.

Winch, I'd use NOS as a last resort when it came to rubber parts like seals. Sometimes the rubber gets hard and cracks more easily.

Yeah I'm thinking ht 8611N or maybe a 8610 is the right one. I need to go to the shop and mich it so I get the correct specs.

Got the specs and Timken and National part number 8610 is a cross reference to original GM 3790622. Ordered it from Rock Auto.
