I'm looking for a carb recommendation for the GM 454 H.O crate engine. I will be using the engine as is from the factory with the addition of an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap, and some headers, other than that, it will remain factory. What carb would you guys recommend for that motor? It's mainly a street car. Do you recommend a choke or no choke since I live up here in Michigan?

Hey Paul a holly 750 with vac. secondaires would be the way to go and convert it to electric chock if its not already just my 2 cents.

It currently has provisions for electric choke. I was thinking somewhere around the 750-770CFM.
