So I just found this plug under the dash and can’t find anywhere for it to go, any ideas? On a side note the car was a column shift car and is now a floor shift auto. The reverse light switch is still there with no wires or plug. Is this new found plug associated? Or what color wires should I be looking for.

Do you have a wiring diagram for your year? There is one in the Haynes Nova repair manual that is really good. It will clear up a lot of questions as you trace circuits.
