went to the body shop this morning...

They're just going to fix the damage. Once I get it back, it will be a father / son project.

The plan is for a Big Block, and an M-22 4-speed, and 3.73 12 bolt.
this used to be another member's on here. if i remember correctly he swore up and down he'd fix it. good to see it will actually get fixed. i remember wrecking a car and 'knew' i'd fix it. i no longer own that car...

I love to hear about the Father/Son Projects:yes: I've done one already and there is nothing more fulfilling. it's great to be working on the cars with the kids.
Best of luck to you and your son with the project.

if dave has kids it's news to me. i think by father/son he meant his father and him. though i've known to be incorrect at times

you got it right, still fullfilling though...

John (chori) is who I got the car from. I planned on the car sitting for a while, until i got some other projects done, but my Dad got the itch to start working on it, so fine by me.

There's no shame in selling it, or even giving up on it for that matter. The car took a HIT badly, and if I remember right it was parked or something when it happened? It's always a shame to see a car like that get wrecked, but sometimes it's smartest to let the more talented or able car builder to put it back together. I'm sure my wrecked car was fixable. It needed a roof, front clip (everything), both doors, and part of the firewall/cowl to get going again. And a rocker panel. I felt bad selling it, but couldn't get myself to cut it up, and lacked the funds and abilities to put it back together. Your old car is in good hands, and I'm sure we'll all enjoy watching the build.

well I went to check on the car yesterday at the body shop, and stupid me did'nt have my camara. Then I realized after I left I could've used my phone.

anyway. They had it up on the frame machine, pulled what they could, and had the door and quarter off. the main reason I stopped by was to drop off the new rocker.

It's coming along well, and if they keep on it like they have been I'll probably have it back in a week or so.
