After several weeks of hard work and a bunch of help from ZZ3guy[my son]my new interior is in.I got some 02 Acura tl seats from LKQ . They were almost a drop in deal.We had to make a filler out of 2x4s to fill out the 1 1/2 ins. between the back seat and the side panel. The fronts are power and the mounting plates were either bent or cut with a cutoff wheel and bolted back on in a different direction. Here is a before and then the after pictures.

WOW, Mike, looks great! So that's what you've been up to this winter. Can't wait to see it in person. Are you planning on going to the NMCA next weekend in BG?

Wow those things look PERFECT in there! I usually like old styled seats in old cars but there is a select few that look great in old cars that are pulled from a newer import or luxury type vehicle. The back seat looks amazing. It looks like it came that way, great job!!! Do you mind me asking how much they cost and where you got them from? I need to keep those things in mind.

Shawn F here's a link to some just like mine except the bottom rear is two piece and mine is one piece.Mine were a little cheaper ,about $325 deliverered to a local freight terminal and I saved about $ 100 over delivery to my house. The rear seat is about 3& 1/2 in. too narrow .I made a filler out of a 2x4 trimmed to the seats conture and about 1/2 in taken out of the width. Then I covered it with foam and black material to match the seat.If you decide to go with them I can tell you how I wired the power front seat as the driver side one has about twenty wires in the harness for motion, memory, heat and air bags if they are in the seat.

Sounds great, I appreciate the info and will keep you in mind. I have in my 66 F100 some late model leather powered and heated jeep liberty seats in it and I need to wire them up but like you said there are HEAPS of wires. I hooked up a battery to it and started messing with it to adjust it when I needed to bolt them in but I need to wire them. I found some wire schematics but I dont know what to do about the harness part. I am thinking about trying to find the other side of the harness or just cut the end of the harness on them now and just have wires... Did you have them up to the fuse block or seperate or what?

I had my car rewired and there was an extra wire that that stays hot all the time.I wired both seats into it.I was lucky that the new seats came with the male plug with about 6ins of the harness left on it.I hooked up all of the black wires to a ground then the wires that said"fuse" were hooked to the power source and the seats move.
