Sharing the shroud idea. Could not find a good after market shroud fit and decided to make my own. Pretty cheap weekend project using sheet metal, square 1" tube and some 1/4" angle stock. For the overflow mount made a bracket that mounts to the unused trans cooling ports.

Lessons learned putting 67 Camaro buckets in a 72 Nova bench car. I did pick up off SNS that the Camaro seat is wider, but not sure that meant track and or seat. You can use the original outboard holes the bench used but then the seat seems close to the door. Also my legs did not feel like the seat was far enough back, at least me that is.

I picked these brackets up below that were advertised as bench to bucket for a Nova. Obliviously not for what I was doing after the fact.

Figured out how to re-purpose them by cutting up and bending them to work. Did have to go to the hardware and pick up a few more elevator bolts. Moved the seat in an inch and back 2. The rear in-board mount I made too high and ended up pulling it back out and dropping a bit. There's enough steel there to make them. I tacked them in for fit and all seems good position wise.

Got the seats/mounts done. Cleaned and re-greased the tracks, boy was that a challenge dismantling with all the rust and dirt. Gave them a soak in metal etch then a wire wheel. They were easy to clean. Hit them with some black but not inside the track.

Threw a down and dirty exhaust system in from Summit with the standard turbo's. Didn't use all the pipe to the bumper and ended it at turn downs for now it was very easy to work with and very easy to install. Except the header on the driver side caused a little issue by design for clearance. Had to slice a wedge out and reweld it just past the collector reducer for a better alignment. Still needs a little adjustment for the parking brake cable. I will revisit this later with an X-pipe and better mufflers and a TIG weld once my friend buy's the rig. Great friend! Gas and battery then I can start checking everything out.

Flexible trans fill tube came loose while filling/commissioning a new trans while running. On the positive side isn't that a beautiful reflection with a few drops of antifreeze to make it artsy.

Derale pan with airflow cooling tubes through the bottom of the pan. Also it adds 2 qts, 4 oz more than a standard shallow 700R4 pan. Including the trans cooler behind the front grill it took 14 qts to fill. Has a temp port on the side and it is advertised to drop temps by 50 deg.
