This is what my distributor looked like when I pulled it to check the bronze gear.
I pulled it last year about this time and it looked like this. I cleaned it and had it nice and clean inside, but here it is again.......

The car was never in the rain or stored outside.

the Cure according to MSD is to drill 1/4" holes in the cap.. 2 of them.. in between posts below the rotor line....

I think it stinks.... Mine and and Big AL's are the same way only Big Al's is far worse....

Why don't they mould the holes in the cap?:confused: if that's the fix.
Better yet use stainless steel. For the price it should be.

Veno;
What do you mean? "in between posts"?

Thanks

Mine did the same thing. Go to the MSD web site and do a search there it is a very common problem. There was a thread on here about it a while back that turned into a heated battle because some people just don't listen or read.
