So, I have my motor/tranny back in. The pass side header will not clear the trans x-member. I purchased new motor mounts from summit

and slapped them on there. Didn't notice anything different that would indicate they were Left or Right mounts.

The motor does sit a little crooked in the engine bay, kinda leans toward the driver's side by about 1/4".

Are the engine brackets on the side of the block L and R specific?????

The link you posted doesn't go to the mounts. The mounts "should" work on either side, but without being able to see exactly what you bought I wouldn't say for sure.

which mounts are you using? are you using the rubber mounts that bolt to the frame or rubber mounts that bolt to the block? The ones that bolt to the frame the steel bracket that bolts to the block is left and right specific.

The ones that mount to the block are steel brackets, which attach to the ones I linked above.

The ones on the block are L&R specific then???

The mounts that you linked are not left/right specific so much as they are correct side up specific. The metal tabs sticking out of the rubber inserts need to be oriented in a certain way so that the engine side mounts sit flat on them. I believe the engine side mounts are the same for both sides.
