i recently took my nova on a 200 mile road trip, and on the way up it started to miss terribly, so i changed the plugs and it drove excellent all the way back home another 200 miles non stop. It then sat for about 2 hours when i started it again it was running rough and it gets progresivly worse. I have change the plugs, cap and rotor, wires. I wouldnt think it is the timing cause the problem seems to come and go. I have also adjusted the carb. and it dosent seem to stop the rough running or the back fire. it is a 350 w/ 600 cfm carb. does anyone have any ideas. oh and by the way when i changed the cap and rotor it ran well for a couple of hours.
