Has anyone used meguiars m105 ultra cut compound and m205 polish? Is it safe to use on fresh paint? I have some light sanding scratches on the hood, deck lid and roof I would like to get rid of.

Thanks

you have to be very careful with the products you choose....90% of the products out there are silicone based...which you can not use on fresh paint.....you want the 3m 3000 perfect it system...works incredible....I used it on my black and yellow car

for fresh paint detail spray...use this

Thanks BM. That 3m system was used on my car, but there are still noticeable scratches in the paint. I think maybe the second and third step of that system need to be done again, but I want something that I can apply by hand since I dont have a da polisher or rotary buffer.
