I am going to install my Posi and gears as soon as I get the kit.....So which kit is the cheapest? Also what type of gear lube should I use with an eaton lsd? Thanks in advance.....TODD

I used the GM lsd additive along with normal gear lube with my Eaton and it's been chugging along problem free for a couple of years now.

I doubt that it was cheapest, but I used the Richmond Gear master kit from Summit when I had my 8.2 diff rebuilt. No complaints from the shop who installed put everything back together for me.

I'm not sure that I'd recommend going cheap on a kit that provides the bearings that keep the rear spinning properly. This is one place where spending on good parts will keep you out of trouble.
