Had a quick look around the site and can't seem to find the answer I was looking for. Hopefully I have parked this in the correct forum.

The 1st - 2nd lever on my M21 transmission came loose last night and while I was able to fix it to get home I thought that it should be torqued and perhaps a dab of locktite to keep it from coming loose again.

Does anyone have the correct torque setting for the levers on an M21 and should I be using a dab of blue locktite or maybe red

Thanks guys

Here is a torque chart using bolt grade to help with size. You can use a smaller

length wrench so not to over torque by hand. You did not say weather it was a

bolt or nut that held the lever on. I would not use any thread loc on the

bolt/nut un less there is something wrong with the threads.

Good information thanks. I will put it to good use.

Threads are good and actually its a bolt (not a nut) with a plain washer that had loosened off.
