Where are the lift points on a fully dressed LSx engine? Do you use bolts or hooks? If bolts, what size?

Mine is fully dressed and ready to run. I want to do this without disassembly.

Yeah mine was done and ready as well. I don't know if they make a device like a lift plate on a carbed engine.

I used a load leveler to keep the chain from the heads straight up and down instead of rubbing against the intake... and yes I lifted from the heads also

I have lifted mine in/out many times using the head tappings in the front and back.
I think it was Big Al that posted a LSx specific lifting apparatus that bolted on the exhaust manifold bolt holes.

OK, I've got a bolt hole on the front passenger side and one on the rear driver's side of the heads. Thanks for the info.
