I have a 71 nova just got freshly painted tuxedo black.. running a 350 sb with a 200 4r trans I'm just about ready to swap this ls1 5.7 that I picked up a couple years back for a cool 7 hundo out of a 2001 or 2002 ss camaro .. just wanted to know the easiest way/ cost effect/performance way to go about doing it . Or if I should rebuild the motor first here some pics any info greatly appreciated

You might want to investigate the LS1 a little more in depth to see what all is going on there.. It has 317 heads on it and those didn’t come on it originally. The 317 came on 6.0L truck motors. LS1s should have:
