So I have the LS1 and T56 set in place for mock-up purposes and I have a couple questions.

1) What spacing do you have between the back of the head and the firewall (see arrow in pic - pass side head)

2) What do your T56 crossmembers look like? Pics?

3) What is the spacing between the bottom of the oil pan and the top of the engine crossmember? I have it at 3/4" right now.

The way I have it set up right now will work great, clears everything up front, allows plenty of room for headers, and only requires that I modify the trans tunnel. But I am looking for opinions and suggestions.

My son and I made cradles for the stock crossmember (cut the ends off). The cradles slip over the sub-frame connectors and are bolted through. The crossmember lays in the cradle and is also bolted in place. Used a steel plate spacer (1/2") between the crossmember and trans mount to set angle.
