Anyone else going to LS Fest East? Doing some fuel stuff to my 63, will be in the drive and drag class, Street Fighter I think they are calling it? Anyway if any of y'all go stop by say hello and mention SNS. REDRUM II is what I call the car. Also will be participating in the Street N Yeet event. Drive and drag from Shady Side in NC to House of Hook in Aiken SC, in November. Same thing if y'all go please introduce yourself. My name is Shawn.

Yes, search Street N Yeet. Its not LS Fest it's another event in November. I'm looking forward to making passes at The House Of Hook hope to see you there!!!
By the way did y'all know Holley charges you to unlock the traction control capabilities of their ECU's. We are working on getting my Chevy II back on alcohol and configuring the drive shaft sensor and the wheel sensor, $500 to unlock the ECU????

We always camp in the camp ground for this event. Haven't made up our minds if we are going to pit in the campground area or in the event area? May hang out with KSR and Soccer Mom? I am entered in the Street class. On Saturday we make a 30 mile drive ending in the staging lanes for 1st pass. I think tire pressure is all that can be touched. Three back to back passes, average ET and done. After that we can run T&T.

Late posting but here we go. At LS Fest my Chevy II set fastest pass for the 1/4 mile. We entered the Street Class and had the field covered but ole Murphy reared his ugly head. Our crank case oil catch cans filled with a mixture of oil and moisture from the methanol and oiled down the engine bay and under the car before we caught it. First two passes in this class are back to back, cant lift the hood. Second pass almost hit the wall due to oil under the tires. We did not attempt the third pass nor did we get to set up any of the traction control.
Just my luck, spent the $500 with Holley, one of the prizes for winning Southeast Street N Yeet, a $1995.00 Davis Technologies traction control system. I posted in the drag racing forum, I won fastest pass of the event and Unlimited Yeet, Southeast Street and Yeet. If yall want to check that event out Spoold Media on Youtube covered the event. My channel Shawns hamburgers and horsepower has some in car footage up now and more coming.
