So IF I go to a set of LS brakes on my 65 then I must go 17's as well. Ugh!
What size 17's could I fit and still run 50 or 60 series and what tires size?

17x7 4.75back spacing is ideal.4.5 BS will work on the front 4.75-5.0 on the rear.

Im planning to run 17x7 front and back with 215/45 tires on the front and 225/45 or 235/45 on the back. Tire diameter is going to be around 25". A 60series is out of the question. Those would be mudders :)

I will watch tire diameter. It's too bad cause I was hoping for a thick whitewall look.
But optimum braking is the best goal and the LS set up may offer that.

Got a recommendation on LS rotors on the site and went through BrakeMotive
I am doing the front LS conversion and the set of slotted rotors were $85 shipped which Included Ceramic Pads through their e-bay store.
The front calipers on got through Amazon and they are remanufactured ones by Raybesto's and the pair was $87 shipped as well - Also the core charge is built-in to that price!

I plan on running 235/45/17 on rear, I have room I think for a 245 but dont know if a 245 tire works on a 7 inch wide wheel? Fronts I plan on a 225/45/17.

I am using 5 inch backspacing both front and rear 17x7

I will be using CBR stuff all the way around the car!
Otherwise I would run a 225/50/17 all around, I know the rear is not a issue but I havent mocked up the front because Im a ways away from that.

Has anyone fit a 225/50/17 up front that is running CBR stuff??????:salute:
