What works best if you want to gain handling benefits of suspension mods? Lowered springs or lowered spindles?
I would like my car to handle and would also like to put the biggest tire I could up front when lowering it and eventually will add a disc kit too.
Recomendations?

If you want to keep your roll centers, ackerman angles, bump stear etc the same, use lowering spindles. Geometry is designed for a certain working zone. Cutting the springs reduces that zone and changes "nuetral" angles.

Good Information

Thanks, I had a good feeling that the whole spindle thing was a more efficient way to help the suspension work. I know there is such a thing as a good spring, but lowering in that fashion means less travel right? So a lowered spindle would mean the same amount of travel and the proper angles as you state.

Thanks and thats why I alwasy ask my Site Buddies!!
