I was wondering if anyone had any experience with radial street tires in 10-12" width in a 15" rim size. I'm trying to stay away from drag radials because I will be driving the car in the rain. I want something that has at least decent grip.

Any ideas?

thanks
Joe

I have the old standby BF Goodrich Radial TA's on mine. Lot's of people put them on their musclecars. Don't know that they are the best - but they work....

Look for something with the lowest tread wear rating, Useally it will be a softer rubber compound that will a bit faster but should offer better grip. Street tires in general suck as far as traction goes if your making any kind of power.I like what the guys used to do that ran in the pure stock drags, bias plys that were treated with tread softner makes the tread softer and the tires would damn near hook in grease! Also suspension tuning will help a ton!
