That's the 1st paint job I ever did.:yes: I still need to
wet sand and buff.

Looks great ..... I'm close to doing my first paint job also; just about ready for media blast.

Did you rent a booth or just make one in your garage? Did you go with ss or bc/cc?

Would love to hear lessons learned from the process.

Ditto ready to primer and never shot paint before.

1st let me say that I was pretty intimidated about spraying clear:turn:
But I only got 1 run and that is by the passenger door handle. Very little orange peeling.:yes:
As for advice.
Invest in a good quality gun. Use a good water seperater. Don't be affraid to lay the clear on heavy(wet).
I practiced on some old body panels I got from a friends shop.

The color is 1969 GM frost(lime) green.
There will be a black stripe on the mid-body line.

The corvette is a 1963 vert. w/ a 383 and DN 5-speed. It's silver with red interior.

I like that color and your car looks great. Good job man. There is a Willow Green 66 running around these parts I have seen only from a distance.

looks great...Where did you paint it.?? where is sitting in the photo..Or somewhere else....I'd like to paint mine but the only place I have is under a tree.........:no::no::no:
