I just rewired my high beam indicator with a two wire led and the light burns constant when i turn on the dash lights. It also gets brighter if i turn on the brights. My question is how should i wire it so that it does'nt burn constant. The two wires i used were the same two that ran the previous high beam indicator bulb. Thanks.

if its a normal led diode.you need some sort of resitor on the hot side of it.it does not take much voltage to light an led.as little as 2 volts will make some light up.thats why its so hard to make led lights work correctly when you dont know how they work.i am by no means an expert on it.but i have messed a little with them.

thanks guys. I am going to try and add an in line resistor to the high beam indicators pos lead. the blinkers worked fine, but they were run through the fuse panel which has a no load resistor.
