This is a bit of older information, but still very worthwhile. I bought a bunch of parts from Jeg's a couple years ago when I was planning on going with a leaf spring ladder bar set up. Just under a year later, I decided to go with a g-bar set up instead. I thought I'd be out all the money for the parts, but thankfully I bought them from Jegs. I checked their return policy and they allow you to return stuff up to one year as long as it's still in the original box. I ended up returning about $3k worth of parts, no questions asked. Summit on the other hand, only allows 90 day returns. I know Summit and Jegs keep competing with prices, but if you're not completely sure, at least with Jegs you have a year to decide.

I agree! JEGS has GREAT customer service. I had bought a fuel pump for the 'Bird and it leaked so I sent it back for a replacement. In the meantime I fixed the old one I had and called them to see if I could change the replace to just return. In a matter of minutes the deed was done. No hassle at all!

Jegs is fantastic. They are the first stop when looking for parts. Classic Industries has been extremely reliable but their prices are high and shipping is slow. Avoid JC Whitney....they have given me some serious run around....not what they once were.

This is a seriously old thread but I'll put in my 2 cents worth. I won't deal with Jegs for any reason. I had a friend that passed away and had a lot of parts still new in the boxes along with his receipts for the parts. I called Jegs and asked them if we could return them since his wife had all the receipts and the parts were in the boxes and they said NO. Not just NO, but NO WAY. They had only been purchased about 8 months prior. We fought with them for a couple of months on this and they just flat refused. My son and I ended up selling all of the parts at a swap meet for much less than what he had paid for them. As I said, I won't deal with Jegs for any reason on account of this. This happened about 9 yrs ago.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal but perhaps your complaint and other helped to change their policy since then.
I have an alternator bracket (app $80 value) that I have to return so we shall see how that goes. I have bought parts from Jeg's and Summit and both have been great to deal with.
