As several members are going after convertible restorations and are battling the rust worm, this seemed like an interesting ad. Sure, the asking price isn't cheap. But if you are restoring a convertible and are going to take it all the way down anyway, would it be better to start with a car more like this or one that you know you can get for $1500 and have to do all the metal repair to?

Called the owner. AZ car originally, with a little rust at the rear of the bottom of the quarters. Patch panel repair, no more. According to the owner the floors are solid, missing hood and grille.

Doesn't really mean much, but this '62 convertible has a 1963 truck diecast on it. It's worth checking the VIN if you're interested.
