Just picked up a used Airgap RPM aluminum intake. The previous owner painted it. Can I sand blast the paint off? Or what is the best way to remove the paint? Thanks

When I blast an intake for powder coating, I use Alum Oxide then follow that with glass bead. Comes out like new...

I soaked mine (same thing and same intake) with paint thinner. Took a few layers off then pressure washed it. Came out like new. If it's the spray can high temp stuff then this will work fine. Spray the paint thinner on it, let it sit and wrinkle, wire brush it, spray it again, and again and then pressure wash. Whatever is left just keep hitting it. You should be able to do the entire thing with about 2 small spray bottles of the stuff.
That or take it to get blasted, up to you.
