I'm considering and Edelbrock Air Gap intake which lacks the normal exhaust crossover. Is the only purpose of the crossover to aid atomitazation for better cold start-up performance? In other words, once warmed up, does the crossover do anything like help fuel economy by keeping the fuel in suspension?
