I have a '72 that I changed from straight 6/powerglide to a small
V-8/TH-350. That was about ten years back so what I remember is kinda iffy on part numbers. I went with solid frame and engine mounts (moroso?) and was able to use the stock crossmember and a soft trans mount. I have never had a problem with height, alignment, angle, or whatever. Like I said, part numbers are long gone. Not sure about any differences with 73-74. Good luck.

Greetings,

It's a very easy swap...do a search for "V8 engine swap" and I'm sure you'll find all the information you're looking for. It's been discussed on here numerous times.
